Varsity Volleyball District Tournament hosted by Rocky Mountain

The Varsity volleyball team enters the district tournament as the #1 seed and will face off against #8 Eagle at 5:00 on Monday, October 17th.

Timberline defeated Eagle in the first round of the District Tournament in 3 straight sets on Monday night, 25-19, 26-24, 25-20.  They will take on Mt. View at 7:00 on Tuesday, October 18th at Rocky Mountain.  Winner qualifies for the state tournament.  Go Wolves!!

On Tuesday, the Wolves continued the hot streak, winning in 3 straight sets over Mt. View...25-22, 25-23, 25-17.  With the win, the ladies qualified for the state tournament (to be held in Idaho Falls next weekend).  Volleyball uses a true double elimination format, so THS will face off against Rocky Mountain on Wednesday at 7:00 at Rocky Mountain.  Winner advances to the District Championship match on Thursday.  Loser will need to play against the backside winner before having another shot at the title on Thursday.

Timberline faced Rocky Mountain on Wednesday night.  Rocky took control from the first game and never looked back, defeating our ladies 18-25, 22-25, and 18-25.  They continue tomorrow at 4:00 against Boise High School.  Winner will face Rocky at 6:00.  

THURSDAY, OCTOBER 20th

Timberline bounced back from the semifinal loss to Rocky (on Wednesday night) to defeat Boise High School in 4 sets.  The ladies dropped the first set 13-25, but found a rhythm to win the next three 25-17, 26-24, and 25-10.  They immediately followed that up facing Rocky Mountain again in the District Championship match.  Rocky proved to be too good tonight and took the District Championship in 4 sets...21-25, 25-20, 19-25, 13-25.  The Wolves will face the winner of the Play-In game (between Centennial and the 2nd place team from the North) at the State Tournament next week in Idaho Falls. (STATE TOURNAMENT BRACKET).  1st Round game will be played at Skyline High School at 11:00 am.

JV Volleyball District Tournament hosted by Centennial High School

The JV volleyball team entered the district tournament on Saturday as the #1 seed.  In the first round, they defeated Capital in two sets.  In the semifinals, they defeated Eagle in 2 sets.  In the Championship Match, The lady wolves faced Rocky Mountain.  In the first set, THS won 25-22.  Rocky fought back in the second set winning 21-25.  But in the third set, the Wolves took an early lead and never looked back, winning the District Championship!  Congratulations ladies.

SOPHOMORE Volleyball District Tournament hosted by Meridian High School

October 15th, 2016.  

The Sophomore team played in the District Tournament on Saturday as the #3 seed.  They defeated Mt. View in the first round and Borah in the second round.  In the Championship match, they played against top-seeded Rocky Mountain.  The ladies fought hard, but lost 1-2 to finish in 2nd place.  Great season ladies.
