Timberline High School is pleased to announce the hiring of Ian Smart as their head football coach. Ian was a member of the 2007 Boise State Football Team that won the Fiesta Bowl and ended the season ranked 5th in the nation. He has been the head football coach at Kuna High School where he led the team to the playoffs the past 3 seasons. He was the defensive line coach at Bishop Kelly High School for 2 seasons helping the 2010 team to a state championship and a perfect 12-0 record. He is passionate about coaching and is enthusiastic about the possibilities that being the head coach at Timberline will bring.
For those interested, you are invited to meet Coach Smart at 7:00 on Thursday, April 13th in the Timberline High School Auditorium. He will present an overview of his plans for the program.
